Florida
Rockdale Pineland Preserve

Reclaimed Earth has proudly adopted Rockdale Pineland Preserve as part of our commitment to raising awareness and protecting the endangered pine rockland ecosystem. Pine Rocklands are one of the most imperiled ecosystems in the world, found only in South Florida and parts of the Caribbean. These unique habitats support a rich diversity of plant and animal life, many of which are found nowhere else. However, due to urban development and habitat fragmentation, less than 2% of Miami-Dade County’s original pine Rockland remains outside of Everglades National Park. By adopting Rockdale Pineland Preserve, we aim to support Miami-Dade County’s Environmentally Endangered Lands (EEL) program and the incredible conservation work they are doing to restore and safeguard these critical landscapes. Our adoption of this property is a step toward ensuring that pine Rocklands continue to thrive for generations to come while inspiring others to take action in protecting our natural world.

Conservation Education and Advocacy

Reclaimed Earth hosts conservation education events throughout South Florida, bringing experts to lead lectures on critical environmental issues, organizing hands-on activities in nature, and creating interactive experiences for children to learn about endangered species and ecosystems. These events connect communities with scientists and conservationists, making environmental education both engaging and accessible. By fostering a deeper understanding of the challenges facing our planet, we inspire action and cultivate a new generation of environmental stewards dedicated to protecting our most vulnerable ecosystems.
